cimicosis

Itching of the skin that results from the bites of Cimex lectularius, or bedbugs.
Lesions and itching of the skin produced by bedbug bites of Cimex lectularius; described as having flat, reddish-brown wingless bodies, prominent lateral eyes, and a three-jointed beaks which produce a characteristic pungent odor from thoracic stink glands and are abundant pests in human abodes; especially, in the tropics under poor sanitary conditions.

Bedbug bites produce characteristic linear groups of pruritic wheals (small swellings on the skin that usually itches or burns) each with a central haemorrhagic punctum (bleeding area)
